Brunel’s Ghost
November 17, 2009 by John Fiddes

Many artists and photographers have produced images of Brunel’s iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge, usually in colour and in daylight. The bridge is illuminated at night, so as an alternative, I thought I would try to capture its splendour in a monochrome style with a hint of moonlight. The resulting effort has a surreal ghostly effect, hence the title.
The artwork is created on a boxed canvas measuring 27.5”x 23.5”x 1.5” and is available for sale at the Art House. Please contact me if you are interested.
